MERTEQ is a collaboration between Quiccs and Mighty Jaxx, created to mark the 50th year Jubilee of the Singapore and Philippines Bilateral Relationship, with the figure standing as a symbol of the diplomacy and friendship between the two countries. The piece is a 7-inch soft vinyl toy with articulation at the neck and hands, limited to 200 pieces in its debut colorway.
MERTEQ was priced at PHP4,800 (approximately US$92 / SG$128) and released at the “Singaporium” event at Podium Mall in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong, running September 6–15, 2019. Figures were distributed through a daily queue and lottery system, with numbered wristbands issued to the first 200 people in line each day and live raffle draws held twice daily; daily allocation was split across three dates — 75 pieces on September 6, 75 on September 7, and a final 50 on September 14. MERTEQ apparel and accessories were sold separately on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the event.
