“OG Rose” SARUTEQ is a repainted resin art toy design from the collaboration between Lab Monkeys and Quiccs, built on the SARUTEQ character within the wider TEQ63 universe. Where the core TEQ63 line carries its own visual identity, SARUTEQ takes the character in a samurai-inspired direction, giving it a distinct silhouette compared to the standard TEQ63 colorways.
Standing 6.5 inches tall, “OG Rose” applies a black, white, and rose/red color treatment across the resin sculpt, an example of art toy design that leans into color as a way of setting a character apart within an existing universe. The piece was limited to an edition of 63, during the R-TEQ63 Cebu Tour, held October 15–16, 2022 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. Quiccs was present at the event for meet and greet sessions with collectors.
As part of the SARUTEQ line, “OG Rose” reflects how Quiccs and his collaborators continue to expand the TEQ63 universe through character variations, regional events, and limited releases rooted in art toy design.
